globalsourico is a sourcing and trade facilitation platform connecting buyers, sellers, brands, factories, manufacturers, and suppliers across China, Malaysia, Bangladesh, and Pakistan. This policy explains what personal and business information we collect through the website and platform accounts, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
02 Information we collect
We collect information depending on how you use the platform:
- Account information — name, email address, WhatsApp number, company name, and account type (Buyer/Seller/Brand or Factory/Manufacturer/Supplier) when you register.
- Verification documents — business registration, export/import licenses, tax certificates, and similar documents submitted during account activation.
- Transaction information — price requests, RFQ and bid details, order quantities, agreed prices, shipping and customs documents, and payment/advance records tied to a specific order.
- Communication records — messages, consultation booking details, and notes logged by our staff when assisting your account.
- Technical information — IP address, browser type, and pages visited, collected automatically for security and site performance.
03 How we use it
We use the information above to:
- Create and activate your account, including reviewing submitted documents and scheduling or waiving a site visit.
- Operate the Tax Benefit Explorer, product catalogue, and price request workflow.
- Match buyer orders (RFQs) with relevant suppliers, and process awarded orders through documentation, shipping, and delivery.
- Assign our Country Heads, Field Agents, Sales Agents, and processing staff to your account or order where relevant.
- Send transactional updates by email and WhatsApp — price quotes, booking confirmations, order status changes, and account status changes.
- Maintain security, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations in each operating country.
05 Documents & verification
Business registration, licenses, and other KYC documents you submit are used solely to verify your account ahead of activation and are visible only to authorized staff reviewing your account. Submitting documents does not guarantee activation — accounts are activated at globalsourico's discretion, following document review and a site visit or a waiver of that visit.
06 WhatsApp & email communications
By providing a WhatsApp number during registration, you consent to receiving transactional messages related to your account — price quotes, booking confirmations, order updates, and activation status. These are operational messages, not marketing, and are sent through our WhatsApp Business integration and standard email.
07 Data retention
We retain account and transaction information for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to meet accounting, tax, and legal recordkeeping obligations in the relevant country. Verification documents are retained for the duration of your active account plus the retention period required by local trade regulations.
08 Your rights
Depending on your country, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and to object to certain uses. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below — we'll respond within a reasonable time and may need to verify your identity first.
09 Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures — including access controls limiting document and bid visibility to authorized staff only — to protect your information. No system is completely secure, and we encourage you to use a strong, unique password and keep your login details confidential.
11 International transfers
Because globalsourico operates across China, Malaysia, Bangladesh, and Pakistan, information may be transferred between these countries as needed to process an order or match a buyer with a supplier across a corridor. We take steps to keep information secure regardless of where it's processed.
12 Children's privacy
globalsourico is a B2B trade platform intended for business use by adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we'll remove it.
13 Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our platform and services evolve. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page, and where appropriate, we'll notify active account holders by email.
